En el 2013 la Ciudad de Chattanooga le dió a La Paz la posición de Centro de Recursos para Familias Latinas. Tomamos este papel muy en serio - actuamos como guía y conexión para familias latinas. Ya sea que buscan ayuda con diligencias cotidianas o consejos sobre como manejar las cosas dificiles, nuestro personal trabaja sin cesar apoyando la comunidad para que puedan prosperar.
We welcome both walk-ins and appointments! Because we are here to help families find the help they need in respectful and culturally-appropriate ways. Sometimes they just want to learn what resources are available, or need help filling out paperwork like health insurance applications, school forms, WIC, and SNAP. At other times, they are the victims of domestic abuse or a threat of homelessness. No matter what situation they are facing, we are here to help.

Parte de nuestra misión continua en La Paz es garantizar que nuestros clientes sean ciudadanos informados. Lo hacemos en parte al proporcionar oportunidades para que las familias aprendan sobre temas importantes relacionados con su seguridad como miembros de la comunidad y comprometiendo a otros de una manera que fortalezca a la comunidad en general. Celebramos reuniones periódicas de seguridad de la comunidad, talleres de asistencia legal, sesiones de divulgación educativa y organizamos un consulado anual de Guatemala móvil.

We believe every client that walks in our doors deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, and that the more avenues for interconnectivity that exist in our city, the better we can be at caring for the ones who need it most.
La Paz provides SNAP application assistance and an onsite food pantry in partnership with Chattanooga Area Food Bank
TennCare applications are facilitated at the La Paz office in partnership with the Tennessee State Office of Family & Children Services
